It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Merritt Brandon Booth III, a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather. Brandon departed this world on November 8, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering dedication to his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Julie, and three children, Kristen, Merritt, and Liz, as well as six grandchildren. Brandon's 44 years of marriage with Julie were a testament to enduring love, while his role as a father and grandfather brought immeasurable joy to his family.
Beyond his family, Brandon was an active member of the civil war reenactor community, known for his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand. Merritt touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.
As we mourn the loss of Merritt Brandon Booth III, let us celebrate the life he lived and the profound impact he had on those around him. His memory will be forever etched in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 15th from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Resthaven Funeral Home and Crematory Inc, 9501B Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701.
A memorial service to honor Brandon's life will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 10:00 A.M. at Resthaven Funeral Home & Crematory Inc, followed by a graveside devotion at 11:00 A.M. in Resthaven Memorial Gardens where friends and family can come together to share their memories and find solace in each other's company.
