Mary Patricia "Patsy" Fogle, of Frederick, MD, went to be with her loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 82 years of age. Born in Frederick, MD on March 17, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Owen E. and Eva (Grossnickle) Ecker. She graduated from Frederick High School in 1953, attended Strayer's Business College and worked for Commercial Credit Corp. and Enoch Pratt Library before becoming a full-time homemaker. She loved music and the piano and could play Addinsell's "Warsaw Concerto" from memory. She was also proficient at tatting, having learned from her grandmother, and made many items including doilies and collars. She was a longtime and faithful member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren and a member of the Homebuilder's Class. In addition to her husband of nearly 57 years, Charles E. Fogle Sr., whom she married August 13, 1960, she leaves behind two sons, Charles Fogle Jr. and Timothy Fogle; daughter Angela Kendle (husband Mel); granddaughter Kayla Fogle; grandsons Grant and Ian Fogle; sister Helen Craig (husband Stanley); sister-in-law Carolyn Ecker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Ecker. The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home-Libertytown, 11802 Liberty Road, Frederick on Thursday, May 25 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 26 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lerry Fogle, officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
