Mary Jean Eyler, 72, of Thurmont passed away on April 10, 2017. She was the loving partner of the late Evelyn Davis. She was the devoted daughter of the late James Ross Eyler, Jr. and Mary Alta Brown Eyler. Mary Jean graduated from Thurmont High School and the Waynesboro Business School before getting a job at State Farm working on computers. She was a very outgoing and personable person who was a friend to all and was known to speak her mind when needed. Mary Jean loved family gatherings, being outdoors, and animals. She loved to travel down South and was known to have a very expansive salt and pepper shaker collection. In her spare time, she loved to cook and listen to Old Country Music, but most of all, Mary Jean was an avid Redskins fan. She is survived by her sister; Betty Lee Rickerd and husband Austin. Brothers; Jim Eyler and wife Judy, and Mark Anthony "Tony" Eyler and wife Margie. Nieces; Lynda Miller, Michele Eyler, and Robin Willard. Nephews; James B. Rickerd and Ernest Eyler. Special neighbors; Mr. and Mrs. Hurley. And numerous grandnieces and nephews, and friends. In addition to Evelyn she was preceded in death by Sister-in-law; Barbara Eyler. Nephew; James M.
