Mary K. Bare, 91, of Frederick, died on February 5 at her residence. She was the wife of 42 years to Charles W. Bare. Born on July 10, 1923, she was the daughter of George P. and Helen L. (Blume) Henderickson.Mrs. Bare attended Frederick High School and graduated in the Class of 1941. She was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church, was a member of the the United Methodist Women and had sung in the chancel choir for many years. Mary was employed as switchboard operator at OX Fiber Brush Company until they closed. Mrs. Bare them went to work at F & M Bank as a teller and finally retired in 1988 after many years at Economy Oil/Phoenix, Inc./Griffith Oil Company.In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by children Michael Bare, Jennifer Bare and Craig Bare, three step children, six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen McClure and siblings Dorothy Eyler, George Henderickson and Elmer Henderickson.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 11 at 10:00 AM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home, Rev. Lynn Wilson, pastor of her church will be officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Ambrose, Cody Mayhew, Andrew McClure, Ethan McClure, Larry Nichols and Jimmy Sheckles.Memorial contributions may be made to the music department of the chancel choir at Trinity United Methodist Church, 705 West Patrick Street, Frederick, Maryland 21702. - VisitationKeeney & Basford Funeral Home106 E.
