Martha Ann Gibson Burdette
Our beloved mother and grandmother found her eternal peace on May 1, 2025 at the
age of 96. She was born on December 1, 1928 to B. Clarke and Ruth Ogle Gibson. She
married Lewis C. Burdette In January 1946 and they had 4 children.
She is survived by her sons Charles Burdette, Donald Burdette (Johanna), and her daughter
Peggy Wilt. Also surviving are grandchildren Eric Burdette, Melanie Divel (Kenneth), Nicholas
Burdette (Melissa) and Sarah Lewis, great-grandchildren Kenny Divel, Autumn Boden (James),
Breann Burdette, Brandon Wilt, Jonah Wade, Camden Lewis, Kailey Lewis, and great-great
grandson Levi Boden, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis, her son David Burdette, grandson
Brandon Burdette, granddaughter Tracey Wilt and son-in-law Wayne Wilt.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, May 10th, 11AM, at Resthaven Memorial
