Mark Brandon's Obituary
Mark Brandon, age 68, passed peacefully away in Frederick, Maryland on December 30, 2022.
Born January 17, 1954, in Frederick, Maryland, Son of the late Lewis Lee Brandon and Elizabeth Newkirk Willis. He did a lot of traveling with his family while his father was in the Air Force. Mark's family loved him very much. He spent a lot of time with a group of disabled people from the ARC of Frederick County at Market St. (Day program activities for adults with disabilities). What a wonderful program and a remarkable talent for Mark. Mark loved to make cane chairs, surgical loops for use in labs, paracord bracelets and weave loops. He enjoyed making things electrical, erector set projects, jigsaw puzzles and crafts. He truly enjoyed life, greeting, swinging, watching TV, fishing, bowling and loved to go on walks. After finishing from Rock Creek School, Mark worked for a workshop at Jeanne Bussard Center for 40 years until July 2012, as JBC was closing.
In addition to his loving family and relatives, he is survived by his sister, Laura Lee Brandon; his uncle, Eric Locke; cousins; friends and many other relatives.
Services will be private.
