Anna Amato
Growing up - in school, she was Margaret Orsini. A young girl who always had a smile on her face. She was witty and fun! She remained that same young girl, into adulthood, when she was then called Maggie. There was a more recent time when a small group of us would 'meet to eat', allowing us to reminisce, as well as bring us up to date of what's going on in our lives. When Margie Zanger's brother, John, passed - me, Maggie, and Joe Seamone, met and sat together for the service Mass. My last phone call with Maggie was after finding out her husband passed. We chatted a bit. She assured me she was okay. She was strong; we all knew that, but a check in with her to hear her voice was needed. I felt badly, as we all had met her husband at those monthly dinners. Now it's become her turn, to join him. Her smiles will always be etched in my memory, and I will miss her laughter. See you in paradise, Maggie! Lots of love and Italian hugs, Annie Amato.
