Obituary
In loving Memory of Margareth "Maggie" Wilds Kildale Born August 20th, 1923 - Deceased July 22nd, 2016 She was from Parrottsville, TN Margareth is proceeded in death by her parents Georgia Ottinger Wilds and Ulys Wilds, her husband Malcolm Kildale, and her three siblings Mary Louise Taylor, Henry Barb Wilds, and James Everett Wilds. As a young girl at the age of 13 her Mother died leaving 4 children to be raised by others. Margareth took on the role of second Mother to her siblings. After high school and one year of business school Margareth moved to Washington DC to work for the FBI under J. Edgar Hoover in the fingerprint department. One day she looked up in the sky to watch a plane and said "that looks like fun". So she applied for a position with American Airlines in New York City and was hired as a stewardess on the early commercial airliner DC 3 with 21 passengers and Maggie took care of them all. She met Malcolm Kildale at the end of WWII in Manhattan later moving to California, Tennessee, then settling down in Washington where they raised three children Margareth, Malcolm, and Colleen. Margareth worked for almost 30 years as a receptionist at Ivans, Phillips, and Barker law firm. She loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends. Margareth had been a long standing member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a docent for the Historical Society in Frederick, Md. where she was a volunteer. She was a loving, loyal, and adoring Mother who proudly hailed her three grandchildren Tiffany Kildale, Joshua Katz, and Jessica Katz. In her later years she lived with her daughter Colleen and were best buddies. She still had the energy to get up a go at every opportunity. She lived a happy, full, and complete life. She is with her Mother now. We love you Mom.
