Obituary
Surrounded by the love of her family, Margaret O'Brien Florimbio, of Moncks Corner, SC previously of Walkersville, MD passed away on June 3, 2016 at the Hospice of Charleston Hospice Center in Mt. Pleasant, SC. She was born to Florence Ester and George Leo O'Brien of Georgetown on October 2, 1942. A graduate of Holy Trinity Catholic School, Margaret married the love of her life, Louis Florimbio, Jr. on August 25, 1962 and together they were blessed with seven children. In addition to raising a family she and her husband ran a successful insurance agency for over 30 years. Margaret was an avid Redskin fan and her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she loved them unconditionally. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Florence and brothers George and Robert, her daughter, Andrea Florimbio, her son, Bruce Florimbio and her beloved husband. Margaret is survived by her children Donna Florimbio of Moncks Corner, SC; Christine (Greg) Harmison of Falling Waters, WV; Katherine Florimbio of Moncks Corner, SC; Paul (Cathy) Florimbio of Walkersville, MD; Margie Florimbio (Harry Walsh) of Charlestown, WV; her sister, Anna Ruth (Jack) Heyden of Rockville, MD; 23 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many other special relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick, MD on Thursday, June 9th. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, June 10th, at 11 a.m. at St.Timothy Roman Catholic Church, 8651 Biggsford Road, Walkersville, MD. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick, MD.
