Margaret Baugher Elliott, 89, of Lewistown passed away Monday, January 11th at Glade Valley Center in Walkersville. She was born September 6, 1926 in Frederick, Maryland she was the beloved daughter of the late Hannah Amanda and Charles William Baugher. She worked at American Optical. She enjoyed quilting, reading, puzzles and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter; Kristy Jo Elliott of Frederick. Son; Mark E. Elliott of Lewistown. Son-in-law; David Tober of Walkersville. Daughter-in-law; Martha Boone of Walkersville. Four grandchildren; Kim Beall and husband William of Walkersville, Kelly Buller and husband Greg of Topeka, Kansas, Robert Tobery Jr. of Frederick and Peggy Frankel and husband Derek of Frederick. Step-grandsons; Richard E. Johnson of Semmes, AL and William Arthur Johnson and wife Sherri of Saluda, VA. Seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, Five step great-grandchildren and three step great-great grandchildren. Two brothers; Charles Baugher and Rev. Arthur "Pete" Baugher of Frederick. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband; Joe C. Elliott. Daughter; Catherine Tober. And son; Joseph Boone. The family would like to express their heart felt appreciation to the staff at Glade Valley Center for the excellent care they gave our loved one. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 16th from 2-3 PM at the Chapel Mausoleum at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick where a funeral service will begin at 3. Interment will follow in the Garden of Veterans I.
