Lynn S. Wright's Obituary
Lynn Stuart Wright, 83, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away peacefully Sunday morning surrounded by his family. Born on March 26, 1941, Lynn was a dedicated mathematician whose work contributed to America’s Apollo space program and national defense. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Lynn is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Cynthia Wright of Frederick, Maryland; his two sons, Jeremy Wright of Frederick, Maryland, and Jason Wright of Canon City, Colorado; and his four grandsons, Nathan, Alex, Jackson, and Aidan, all residing in the Maryland area.
Lynn’s life was a testament to hard work, loyal friendship, and love for his family, particularly his high school sweetheart, Cynthia, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage spanning over six decades.
A celebration of life service will be held to honor his memory on October 11, 2024 at Resthaven Funeral Home in Frederick Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The Dove Hospice House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD., or The American Red Cross.
