KINZEY, LYNN's Obituary
Lynn R. Kinzey of Monrovia, MD passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2024. He is survived by his wife, MaryFrances Kinzey of 50 years. They were married on May 18, 1974. Lynn and MaryFran met at work, both in the automative industry. They shared a life of love and commitment enjoying family and friends.
Lynn was born on November 6, 1940 in Johnstown, PA. He was the son of the late Ernest P. Kinzey and Florence M. (Friedman) Kinzey. He is reunited with them and his beloved Sister, Marcia Mellen.
Lynn, lovingly known as PapPap, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was passionate about drag racing and loved to golf. He spent many years at a softball field with his 2 granddaughters, both as a devoted fan and assistant coach.
Lynn is survived and will be missed by his wife, MaryFran; his sister Leda Miller, wife of Jim Miller and a host of nieces and nephews; his sister-in-law, Carmel Curtis; daughters, Tammy Kulik, wife of Michael Kulik and Kimberly Kinzey, domestic partner of Jack Freedman; granddaughters, Erika Nagy with children Kierynn and Kaedeyn Lewis and Amanda Aikin, wife of Brian J. Aikin, Jr. with children Layla and Carly Aikin.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm on Monday, November 25, 2024, with a service beginning at 1 pm and Inurnment following.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates American Cancer Society donations.
