Obituary
Lucinda Coles Bowersock, 77, originally of Baltimore, MD, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Frederick, on Saturday, December 23, 2018. She was born August 16, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, to her late parents, architect Warren Austin Bowersock and his wife Edna (Coles) Bowersock. Always known as Cindy, she moved with her family to Towson, MD in 1956, and was a graduate of Towson High School. In a family full of creative people, Cindy's passion was gardening and sewing. Holidays always brought new handmade outfits for the grandchildren and her summer gardens yielded a bounty of blossoms and produce to share with others. She was always happy when she created something. Cindy is survived by her first husband, Edward W. Cowman and their five children: Jennifer and her husband Kevin; Kenneth Cowman and his wife Sandy; Diana Wilner and her husband Steven; James Cowman and his wife Delora; and David Cowman. Eight grandchildren: Jeremiah (Juliet); Christopher; Kayleigh (Christopher); Jessica (Ryan); Stephanie; Steven (Melanie); Samantha (Jeremy); and Rachel. Seven great-grandchildren: Evan, Emma, Colton, Lilliana, Jude, Evelyn and Charlotte. And sister Barbara B. Lewis of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her brother Bruce H. Bowersock. Services are private. Arrangements are with Resthaven Funeral Services, Skkot Cody, P.A.
