Obituary
Mrs. Louise F. Weddle, 100, of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Frederick, MD passed away at her home she shared with her daughter of whom was by her side in the early morning hours of January 14, 2018. Born March 25, 1917, in Loudon County near Lovettsville, VA., she was the daughter of the late Blanche Coffman Virts Mansfield and Edgar H. Virts. Louise started her working career with the Post Office in Burkittsville, MD for 3 years, and for thirteen years worked at the Blue Ridge News Agency in Frederick, MD. She retired after working for Carmack's for 10 years. Louise was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #11 and AMVETS Post #2 in Frederick, MD. She was also the longest living member of the Moose Club Post #660 in Brunswick, MD, a member for 72 years and helped to form the Women's Auxiliary. Louise was a member of Sandy Hook Methodist Church since she was 16 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Norma Jean Misner, granddaughter Tammy Louise Mellow and husband Doug. Grandsons; Clinton Davis Brawner and Buckey Nalley. Granddaughter; Terri Lee and husband Tony. Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews including Lisa and Dennis, Merv and Ruth, Paula and Mark, Lori and Jim, and Nita Sue. She will be especially missed by her bestest, bestest friend Janice Marshall, like a sister Mary Miller, "adopted" grandson Mikey Harrison, special friends Tommy and Brenda, Shannon and Mike and children, Adrian and John Coleman, Edna and Donny, Mark and Kelly, Sam and Mary Miller, Ed and Linda Nelson, and her favorite sister-in-law Joan Weddle. She was preceded in death by the father of her children Arnold Filmore Nalley, the love of her life William Kenneth Weddle, sons; Arnold Clinton Nalley and Raymond Lee Nalley, Sr., Sister; Ethel Buecker, Brother; Hilary Virts, and son-in-law Daniel Calvin Misner. She is the last of her family. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. William Convey and the staff of John Hopkins of Frederick, Meritus Hospital and staff, Meritus-Ent, Inc, Hospice of Washington County, Reeder Rehab Center in Boonsboro, Equipped for Life Hagerstown, and County Medical Transport, Inc. especially Mandy and Zack. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 19th at 1 PM at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick with Pastor Ben Hayes officiating.
