Linda and I worked together for years at FMH on the IV Team. She was a very special person, professional, competent , knowledgeable and truly cared for patients in her care. She was also a delightful friend and resource to her colleagues. She lived her faith daily. May she trst in peace.
I worked with Linda at Homecall. She was always an inspiration as IV nurse and would always take the tough home IV cases that I assigned her. May she Rest In Peace Kathleen Kissane RN, BSN, MSN, ACRNP, CDE
Mr. Stephen Mutchner: In March of 2005 I was in Frederick Memorial Hospital for fairly intrusive abdominal surgery. I was there about a week, could not eat for five days. As they were to inject me to put me to sleep, several people scurried around me, could not "find the vein" in the back of my hand for the IV. So and behold they sent an all points alert for Linda, with several people insisting on her immediately. I knew from Leoma Barnes years before that, she served at a hospital in Baltimore, but I still thought, man that would be cool if it was Linda, it is a small world. Lo and behold, in walks Linda, her, my sister, a couple other FMH employees talked things up pretty good, no shortage of laughs in this world. BUT MOST IMPORTANT she "found the vein"! I had heard through Leoma, probably others, that Linda was a vein specialist successful in ways few others accomplish. So Linda, for sure, had a vital role in my restoration to better health. Yeah, I got a big mouth, I talk and write too much for my own good, but I still have fond memories of that very unique life experience. Who could forget that? It helps engender some gratitude to the world that we have gifted people like Linda at such critical times. Anyway, I ain't big on computer skills, I hope this message gets through.I may or may not be there Saturday, with this Covid thing its hard to know what to do when, some days I feel bolder than others, but the world is so messed up, even with me being fully vaccinated I could still face ruinous health just walking anywhere in public. Linda L. Mutchner: God bless you, rest in peace. Steve Myers, Frederick, Md. 12/10/2021
