Linda Danielle Laferriere, age 33, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at her home in Keedysville, Maryland. She was born May 31, 1984 in Agana, Guam where her father Robert Laferriere was stationed along with her mother Christine (Pratscher) Laferriere. Linda Lived in Maryland from age one and has been a Frederick resident since 1991. She is a graduate of Frederick High, class of 2002. She Graduated Liberty University in 2007 with a Communications degree and received her Master's in Business Management from Liberty University Online in 2014. She worked for United Healthcare as a customer service specialist since 2016 and was previously employed at Wells Fargo as a customer relationship manager. She had also worked at several other Frederick business establishments both during high school and after college. Linda loved her Lord, Jesus and was involved with ministries in several Frederick churches, including Living Hope Community Church where she had been attending for the last eight years. Linda and her boyfriend Nathan Weaver of Odenton, Maryland could often be found walking the streets of downtown ministering to the homeless or praying for individuals they would encounter. Linda participated in Missions trips to Canada, Venezuela, India and the Philippines as well as U.S. locations. They also enjoyed hiking and spending time with friends and family. They were hoping to become engaged in the coming year. Linda is survived by her parents, Robert and Christine Laferriere of Charles Town, WV formerly of Frederick, Maryland; sister Lisa (Laferriere) Rodatus of Frederick; brother-in-law Matthew Rodatus; nieces Adeline Rodatus, Una Rodatus. And grandmothers Dolores Pratscher and Donna Emmons as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Leo Laferriere, uncle John Laferriere. And her great grandparents. A viewing for family and friends will be held at Grace Community Church, 5102 Old National Pike, Frederick, Maryland, on Friday January 5th from 6 to 8 pm where a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 12:30 PM. A reception will follow immediately after the service. Interment will be private for the family at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Linda's name to the Frederick Rescue Mission, 419 W. South Street, Frederick, MD 21701 or support to other charities that Linda loved may be given by contributing to a GoFundMe page set up on her behalf.
