Linda Marie Holton's Obituary
Linda Marie Holton passed away on February 17, 2026, in Frederick, Maryland. She was born on September 5, 1953, in Washington, D.C to Elroy and Isabel Horton.
She lived a life filled with curiosity, devotion, and adventure. One of her greatest joys was traveling across the country in an RV with her beloved husband, David Holton, capturing the beauty of each place through the lens of her camera. Her love for animals was equally profound, especially for her cherished dogs—Missy Bear and Ruby—who were constant companions and sources of comfort.
She dedicated many years of service to the Housing Department for the Armed Services, where her commitment and compassion touched the lives of countless individuals and families.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Kenny (Lorna) Clum, Tamra (Bobby) Barton, Gary (Missy) Clum, and Scott (Stacie) Clum; and by her brother and sister in law, Bill and Cher Holton.
She was preceded in death by her loving spouse, David Holton; her parents, Elroy Horton and Isabel Crowell Horton; her sister, Barbara Clum Carter; and her nephew, Greg Clum.
A gathering of family and friends, along with a memorial service, will be held at a later date to be determined:
