Linda Brooks entered eternal rest Monday, March 18, 2024, at her home in Maryland, at the age of 74. She was born on August 19, 1949, in York, PA to the late Ervin and Ruth Eaton. Linda was a graduate of the William Penn Senior High Class of 1967, member of drum and bugle corps. She was a beautician and proud owner and operator of Linda's Hairstyling Salon until retiring in 2006. After enjoying 10 years of retirement in the Arizona heat, she returned home to Pennsylvania with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved sunflowers, butterflies, the beach and dancing the night away with friends. She was a fur mommy to several Yorkies along the way who greeted her with wagging tails across the rainbow bridge. Linda was preceded in passing by her sister Barb Brenner; and is survived by her four children, Kim Lease, Todd Lease, Brad Lease and Sean Stallsmith. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Anthony Guzzo, Brandon Lease, Kaitlyn Grove, Alek Guzzo and Brenya Stallsmith; along with 8 great grandchildren; and her sister Sue Arnold. The family will be holding a private "Celebration of Life". In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials in Linda's honor be directed to the Eye Tumor Research Foundation, P.O. Box 832, Philadelphia, PA 19105 or at fighteyecancer.com under "Give".
