Mr. Leonard "Jack" Grayson Phelps, 79, of Frederick passed away on May 29, 2017. He was the loving husband of Frances Phelps for 53 years. He was born on January 6, 1938 in Myersville to the late Albert Grayson Phelps and Catherine Miller. Jack was known to be a very funny man who loved to joke around with everyone. He was an avid sports fan especially for his beloved Cleveland Browns and Indians. He loved the outdoors, fishing, eating crabs and playing cards. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids and just being around people. He was a very hardworking man who did everything for his family. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Greg Phelps and wife Maria, Tommy Phelps, and Carole Main and husband Rick. Grandchildren; Nicholas, Kristin, Scotty, Cody, Tyler, Jacob, and Brandi. Brother; Dick Phelps. His special buddy, Bradley. And many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7th from 6 to 8 PM at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick, where a service will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 11 AM.
