Kitty Lea Bradley's Obituary
Kitty Lea Bradley, of Monrovia, MD, passed away Wednesday, February 25 after a lengthy illness.
Kitty is predeceased by her beloved parents, E. Phyllis Bradley and Russell Glenn Bradley of Boyds, Maryland. In addition to her loving parents, Kitty was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Brackett Bradley.
Kitty is survived by; her brother, Michael Bradley, and wife, Gail Bradley; her sister, Kimberly Pate, and her husband, Tom Pate. She is also survived by her niece, Brooke Aileen Gardner, and her husband, Jeremy Gardner, and great-niece, Aryia Gardner; nephew, Alexander Pate, and wife, Mackenzie Pate; nephew, Christopher Bradley Pate; niece, Victoria Michelle Pate; niece, Mindy Lea Bradley and William Honaker and their daughters Arabella Albee and Zoe Albee; niece, Cheryl Lynn Goff.and Charles Goff and daughters Olivia and Anna Marie Goff.
In Oklahoma Kitty leaves her uncle Clifford Bradley and numerous cousins. Kit also leaves her dear friend Cindy Smith of Frederick, MD.
Kitty retired after 30 years of teaching and instilling a strong work ethic in her students.. She inspired generations of students as an English and Drama teacher at Seneca Valley High School, where her passion for storytelling and the arts brought countless classrooms to life.
Outside the school walls, Kitty’s joy was evident in her love for Disney, traveling the world and the magic of the movies. She lit up when hosting family gatherings, creating warm, joyful memories around shared meals and laughter.
She will be deeply missed by her students, colleagues, and loved ones, whose lives she touched with her creativity, kindness, and unwavering spirit.
A memorial service may be planned will take place in the future and will be announced at that time.
