Kevin Matthew Ocker, 43, of Knoxville, Maryland, passed away October 7, 2021.
He was born October 2, 1978, to Edward Ocker, Jr. and Nancy (Chrisley) Ocker in Leonardtown, Maryland. He attended Maranatha Baptist Academy and Clearwater Christian College. He worked as an airport security specialist under contract to the TSA starting prior to 9/11/2001. He traveled extensively throughout the U.S. testing new hardware and technology for both TSA and Homeland Security in support of the government’s traveling public security initiatives. He received numerous commendations from TASC, Inc. and TSA for his outstanding work until an injury and foot infection in 2014 led to his disability shortly thereafter.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy, and he was a great help to her for several years prior to her death in 2016.
To cherish his memory, Kevin leaves behind his father, Edward Ocker; brothers, Barry (wife Kristy), Jason (wife Lindsey), and Bobby; eight nieces; a nephew; and numerous friends.
A graveside service for family will be held at 11am Monday, October 11, 2021, at Park Heights Cemetery in Brunswick, Maryland.
