Kevin was a very good friend for many years. Always had a big smile, had a big heart. Would do anything for anybody. Rest in peace.
Yeh, Kevin was ornery and direct, he and I often butted heads as young men. But we also had a lot of fun. If you knew him you knew he was he was incredibly generous and sensitive and mischievous. I learned so much from him about firefighting, courage, conviction, and life. I hadn't seen Kevin in over 20 years, i guess, but i was deeply hurt to hear he had passed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I met Kevin in the early 80's as a young Maryland State Trooper. We developed a great friendship even though our contacts were far and few between. He was a "tell it like it is" kind of guy and the words hard headed and ornery describe him perfectly. Rest in peace my friend. You are now at peace with our good friend Cpl. Pride Rivers, MSP.
