Obituary
Kevin Ward Barker passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at his home in Frederick. He was a devoted Christian and lived his life accordingly. He was a graduate of the Faith Bible Institute. He loved his Lord and his three children more than life itself. Kevin is survived by his parents Sandra A. Barker Noland and Billy Ray Noland, Col. USA Ret. and Harvey Ward Barker, Lt. USN Ret. and Jackie Barker; father of Brian Ray-Ward Barker of Manhattan, NY, Garrett Ward Barker and Samantha Mae Barker, both of Frederick, MD; brother of Kathy Barker of Frederick, MD, Karen (Peter) Allen, of Sabillasville, MD and Kristin Campbell of Thurmont, MD; uncle of Heather Wolfe of Sabillasville, MD, Janice Campbell of Thurmont, MD, Airman Jonathan Campbell, USAF; great uncle of Mason and Emma Wolfe of Sabillasville, MD. Kevin was a carpenter and owned his carpentry business for over 25 years. He was an avid hunter and drew much pleasure from the environment. He took long trips out west to Idaho, Montana, and Alaska to hunt and enjoy the environment. Until he took sick he longed to move out west with his family. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Thursday, July 14 from 5-8 pm and where funeral service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2106 at 10 am.
