Mrs. Katherine Louise Rutherford, 68, of Keymar passed away on March 10, 2018. She was the loving wife of Thomas Rutherford, Sr. for 52 years. Called "the best wife any man could have", Katherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who was always there for anyone, anytime, be it family or friend, she could be counted on. Known as a "fighter" Katherine loved her farm especially the chickens and buffalos, she loved flowers and canning produce where her bread and butter pickles were a big hit with all. As Tom said, "there are not enough words to describe her." In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Julie Bell and husband Rodney, Violet Johns and husband Chad, Suzie Brown and husband James III, and Tim Rutherford and wife Kim. Twenty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren. Brother; Rahe Palacorolla. Sister; June Greathouse. Special friend of the family; Tammie Smith and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles, her son; Thomas "Tucker" Rutherford, Jr. Brother-in-laws; Joe, Walter, and Ronnie. And mother-in-law; Violet. Funeral services will be private.
