Mrs. Karol Ann Mathews' Obituary
Mrs. Karol Ann Mathews, 85, of Walkersville, passed away peacefully on October 26th at Autumn Lake Glade Valley. She was the loving wife of the late Randall Mathews, who passed on March 4, 2004.
Born December 11, 1937 in Washington, DC, Karol was the daughter of the late Irv and Eva Kaye. Karol worked as a secretary for Ohr Kodesh Congregation in Silver Spring for 25 years.
In addition to her loving husband, Karol was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Joyce. She is survived by her children, Joy Wolfe of Hagerstown and Richard Wolfe of Tamarac, FL; grandchildren, Brett DeMeza & wife Krista, Erin DeMeza, and Samantha Montague & husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Makenna, Camden, Noah, Nehemiah and Cherish; other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 29th at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy. in Frederick. Please omit flowers. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Humane Society or any animal rescue.
