Mr. Joseph Scribellito, Jr, 59, of Frederick died suddenly and unexpectedly in a single vehicle accident on Friday, August 18th. He was the loving husband of Cheryl Scribellito for 37 years. He was born April 11, 1958 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Joseph, Sr. and Hazel Scribellito. Joe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother who graduated from Toms River South High School in 1976. After graduation, he started working for his dad in his drilling company, Reliable Pump and Well. He later took over the business when his father retired. Upon closing of that business, he went to work for multiple companies for a few years from New Jersey to South Carolina before settling in Maryland. In 1999, he started Free State Drilling Inc, a family business. He was President of the Mid-Atlantic National Drilling Association. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Joseph Scribellito and wife Julia, and Danielle Mattera and husband Rob. Grandchildren; Emersyn, Lillian, Katheryn, Angelina, Sophia and Robert. Brothers; Angelo and wife Irene, Tony, Ken and wife Tes, and George and wife Terry. And numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law; Trudy. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24th from 6-8 PM at Calvary Assembly of Frederick, 8234 Woodsboro Pike, Walkersville, MD where a service will be held on Friday, August 25th at 10 AM.
