Joe was like a granddad to me, he was always willing to answer any questions I had. He always made me laugh with a joke and was willing to help in any way. I'm honored to know him.
I worked in the kitchen with Joe at Camp Airy. He always had a smile on his face, worked hard and never complained. His cheerful demeanor was also a bright spot at all the Goshen Bear work-ends that I attended and at many scouting events. He was a beautiful soul!
