Jerry was a great supervisor and friend, he taught me many things about the job, I worked with him and for him at Watkins Johnson for many years, a great husband to Linda and loved his family so much. I am sorry we lost contact the last few years but Tom and I enjoyed our friendship with Jerry and his family. Jerry is in heaven now and so is Tom they will have many good talks together.
Heaven has gained a Great Man who had the sweetest little grin I have ever seen. He was truly a man that loved his family. He made certain that his children and grandchildren had the opportunity to make memories with his mom and dad and all his family here in Kentucky, loading up 5 grandchildren and traveling 620 miles could not have been easy. But he and Linda made the trip look easy and came as often as they could. I will always treasure those sweet memories we made here on the farm. Jerry will be missed by so many but For every heart he touched his memory will live on. I love you all
Jerry was my brother for 50 years and 7days. I first met Jerry in Paris,was he was set up with my Sister on a blind date, it was an embassy party on Halloween. Linda looked so cute in a green flapper costume. They made such a cute couple. Their wedding was so much fun. I was sixteen years old,and so blessed to have him in my life, he was so very special to me, my Mother, and my Sister. He loved her and his family with all his heart. Every time I had a problem or needed any advice in life I knew I could turn to Jerry and he would be there for me. No one could ask for a more wonderful big brother. I will miss you Jerry and I love you always and know I will see you again. May you rest in peace,knowing you are loved and will be truly missed.
My Papa was truly the kindest, wisest, most amazing man I've ever known. He modeled what a man should be, with everything he did. A devoted Husband, loving Father and adoring Grandfather. Heaven has truly gained an angel. I have so many memories with him. I will forever cherish all the trips to Alaska he made to see me or bring me home, every trip to Maryland and all the adventures he and Gammy took us on... My heart will just never be the same...I know he's waiting for us and will guide us all as we continue this adventure of life without him.... My condolences to the Grace family. I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Jerry during the Watkins-Johnson days. He was always helpful, honest and hard working man of integrity. God Bless this family, during your time of need.
Tina and family. While I never met Jerry, I can tell how much of an impact he had not only on his family and our country. Thank you for sharing this small snippet of his life. I graduated from Greenville High School in 1962 with Jerry. I considered him as one of my good friends. I remember he lived on a hill on the North side of Paradise Rd. just outside of Greenville. I haven't seen Jerry since graduation as we all went our separate ways, but I know he went on to have a successful career and I am proud to have know him and all that he accomplished. My condolences to his wife and family.
My Dad, Father in Law and friend. One who always was a Gentleman, Fair & Trustworthy, he had a back bone that was strong & just, who put his Family first. He Loved God and never was boisterous. He had a sense of humor and would melt your heart with his smile. He loved Momma like she was his sunshine, his kids & grandkids to the moon and family/close friends like stars. Such love, dedication and devotion is what he brought to our family. I Love you Dad and miss you. RIP
