Jerry Jesse Ceballos, 65, of Mt. Airy passed away on Wednesday, June 15th. He was the loving husband of Sandy Ceballos for 39 years. Born on October 24, 1950 in Long Beach, California to the late Joseph and Amada Ceballos. Jerry was a Military Policeman in the United States Army from December 1971 until February 1976. His hobbies were raising pigeons and building model cars. He loved low riders and old cars, he loved his oldies and loved to sing, but his greatest passion and source of joy was his dog Spanky and being "Pop Pop" to his 10 grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Shawn Linthicum and partner Tiffany Kanode of Frederick, Amy Rumburg and husband Brian of Mt. Airy, and Christopher Ceballos of Mt. Airy. Grandchildren; Kylie, Christopher Jr., Renee, Kyrsten, Brian II, Kassidy, Aubry, Onyx, Abram, and Baby Reece. Brother; James Ceballos and wife Debbie, very special nephew; James Jr. and 3 very special nieces; Jamie, Jennifer, and Jessica, all of Oklahoma. Very special cousin; David Cuevas of California. Sisters; Carol Perez, Tina Kubala, and Celia Sanchez and husband Hector of California. and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Johnny Joe and Jay. Sister; Cynthia. His beloved Aunt Frances. Niece; Renee Loza. Nephew; Joey Sanchez. And sister-in-law; Becky Conners. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 18th from 1-2 PM where a service will begin at 2 PM at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick. Interment with military honors will follow in the Garden of Veterans II at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
