Jeremiah Aaron Guynn's Obituary
Jeremiah Aaron Guynn, 47, of Frederick passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 13 at home.
Born June 13, 1975, he was the beloved son of Richard Guynn and the late Connie-lee Etzler Guynn, and the stepson of Susan Guynn.
Jeremiah graduated from Gov. Thomas Johnson High School in 1993. He worked in the building trades as a skilled framing and trim carpenter. He enjoyed motocross racing and raced for several years. He also enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, bike riding, fishing and, most of all, spending time with his son. Jeremiah was a gentle soul and known to be kind, generous and fun-loving.
Jeremiah is survived by his son, Dylan Guynn; parents Richard and Susan Guynn of Frederick; sister Virginia Guynn and fiancé Drew Droze of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; sister Elizabeth Guynn of Norfolk, Va.; grandmother Janice Guynn of Woodbine; nieces Carmine Guynn of Arlington, Va., and Aurora Guynn of Winchester, Va., and nephew Aaron Alenskis of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by his mother Connie-lee Etzler Guynn; grandparents Midge Etzler, W. Leon Etzler, H. Greeley Guynn Jr., and step-grandparents Charles and Grace Keeney; aunts Lynn Warfield, Sherry Keeney, Joyce White and uncles Michael and Richard Keeney.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 29 at Faith Reformed Presbyterian Church, 8158 Yellow Springs Road, Frederick. A luncheon will follow at the church. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
