Jennifer K. Dombkowski's Obituary
It is with deep love and sadness that we share the passing of Jennifer K. Dombkowski, 86, a devoted wife, caring mother, and benevolent friend, who left us peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at her private residence in Frederick.
Born in Korea to Song Chang Kim and Song Nyo Paek, she later made her home in the United States, where she lived a life rooted in love, grace, care, kindness, and quiet strength. She was the beloved wife and widow of James Dombkowski, a proud military veteran and civil servant, with whom she shared a life built on devotion, respect, and enduring love.
As a homemaker, she found joy in caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home, with her kitchen filled with the comforting aroma of her cooking and the beauty of her handmade knitting and crochet. She cherished time spent with family, found peace in gardening and reading, and took joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments. Her gentle heart, patience, and generosity touched everyone who knew her.
She will be remembered not only for her love and devotion to her family, but also for the grace and compassion she brought to every moment. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Timothy, and loving family in Korea, who will forever remember her gentle heart, thoughtful nature, and unwavering devotion.
A private memorial service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick, MD. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her memory are encouraged to cherish time with their loved ones and carry forward her spirit of warmth, kindness, and support.
