Jayden Tanyi-Tang's Obituary
Jayden Tanyi-Tang, 19, of Urbana, MD, passed away on July 16, 2026. Born on July 15, 2007, he was a beloved son and a loyal friend to so many. Jayden had just completed his first year at Drexel University in the Health Sciences program and was looking forward to a career in dentistry as well as entrepreneurship.
Jayden was extremely smart and a fast thinker. He possessed an entrepreneurial mind and excellent financial knowledge, teaching himself many things that interested him in business. He had an inquisitive mind and was a natural self-learner. Jayden had a heart of gold and, as many of his friends and acquaintances described, was remarkably sweet.
Jayden had a quiet and kind spirit. Those who knew him will remember his quick wit, beautiful smile, and great laugh. Jayden had a fierce determination; once he set his mind to something, he accomplished it. He leaves behind a legacy of love and perseverance, carried forward by his parents, Danny and Cely, and his brother, Kean.
Funeral services will be held on August 1 at 12:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on the morning of August 1, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Visitation and service will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick, Maryland). A private burial for family only will follow on the grounds. Flowers may be sent directly to the funeral home.
