Mr. James Christian "Jimmy" King, 18, of Brunswick, passed away on July 11, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Jimmy was born January 4, 2000 in Frederick. He loved to fish and hunt, and was an avid wrestling fan. He was also proficient on X-Box, and he played on the Challengers baseball team for seven years. Jimmy is survived by his grandfather and his buddy, Claude "Pap" Darr, with whom he resided; his parents, James and Marie A. Shriner King; sister, Melissa; niece Scarlett; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ruby Darr (Nanny) and Jane Shriner, his grandfather Bob Shriner, and his uncles Timmy King and Petie King. Visitation will be held from1 - 3 PM on Wednesday, July 18th at Faith Baptist Church, 2212 Jefferson Pike, Knoxville, MD, where a funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 19th. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Jefferson United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3882 Jefferson Pike, Jefferson, MD. Floral tributes are welcome.
