Henry T. Weeks of Frederick, MD died November 19, 2016. Born May 4, 1941 in New York, NY. Graduated from University of Toledo, OH with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Also, received a Master's degree in Mathematics from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, MD. Upon becoming commissioned as an officer in the United States Army, served two terms in Vietnam before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1985. After military service Henry worked as a consultant to the Department of Energy until leaving the workforce in 2000. Henry married his wife Gail in September of 1980. Henry served as President of the Mavericks R/C Airplane Club as part of his lifelong love of model aviation, enjoying building and flying both model helicopters and airplanes. Henry also had a deep affection for the animal world and adopted many types of pets, including the current six dogs and one cat who share the family home. Friends and family will miss Henry's jovial nature, constant jokes and hugs and kisses for the ladies. Henry is survived by his wife Gail, son Frank, daughter-in-law Natasha, brother Richard, sister-in-law Mary and one niece and five nephews. Visitation will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick Tuesday, November 22 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm, where funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Reception following burial at the Way Off Broadway Dinner Theater located at 5 Willowdale Drive in Frederick.
