Grace Rebecca Custer, 78, of Frederick passed away on January 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Charles for 60 years. She was born January 25, 1938 to the late Earl and Edna Rice. Grace was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was truly devoted to her family. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Araby Methodist Church and South End Baptist Church in Frederick. She was a Sunday School Teacher and enjoyed singing in the Choir. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children; Stephen Custer and wife Nancy, Chris Reeder and husband Robin, Myron Custer and wife Kathy, and Brenda Myers. Grandchildren; Chuck, Josh R., Josh C, Kristen, Leah, Hayley, Olivia, and Alex. Great-grandchildren; Addison, Logan, and Sophia. Sister; Mary Nicodemus and husband Leonard and brother; Jerry Rice and wife Helen. She was preceded in death by siblings; Richard Rice, Ronald Rice, and Doris Harpold. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13th from 6 to 8 pm at South End Baptist Church, 506 Carrollton Drive, Frederick where a service will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 11 am with Reverend Jack Harpold officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Cross at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick.
