Obituary
Miss Glenda J. Stang, 55, of Frederick, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones August 12th. She was the loving daughter of Luther and Beverly Stang. Born August 28, 1959, in Frederick, Maryland, Glenda was a very caring, friendly, outgoing person who would speak her mind when needed. She was good-hearted and there for anyone, anytime even when dealing with her own issues. She was very hardworking, but really enjoyed her free time. She loved going to NASCAR races to see her favorite driver Tony Stewart, a huge Steeler fan as well as Packers, enjoyed playing slots, and taking care of her cats and bird. In addition to her parents she is survived her brother; Jim Stang and wife April. Nephew; Bradley Stang. And significant other, Bruce Sheckler. And numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents; Claude and Ruth Stang, and Lewis and Helen Winpigler. And two uncles.A visitation will take place from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Sunday, August 16th, at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15N in Frederick, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, August 17th at 3 PM. Interment will immediately follow in the Garden of Christus I. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frederick County Hospice ( www.hospiceoffrederick.org) and the Patty Pollatos Fund (www.ppfinc.org) Arrangements are with Resthaven Funeral Services.
