Ms. Gladys Diane Pearson's Obituary
Gladys Diane Pearson, 76, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away on July 4, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Gladys, most commonly preferred and known as Diane, was born on January 31 1948 to the late Carroll J. Lowe, Sr. an Barbara Henley Lowe in Montgomery County, MD. She was the youngest of two siblings. At a young age, Diane had to quit school to focus on a job in order to help support her family. She was always willing and wanting to provide for the ones she loved.
Diane pursued a career as a housekeeper, where she loved cleaning and taking care of residents. She worked as a housekeeper at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, MD, and Homewood of Williamsport, MD for a combined total of 30+ years.
After retirement, Diane spent her time shopping, watching tv, and hanging out with family. Diane loved taking care of and spending time with the family cat, as she was a big animal lover.
Diane was preceded in death by her first husband, Glen Shifflett; second husband, Amos Pearson; and two siblings, Carroll J. Lowe, Jr. and Patsy Earp. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Shifflett Robinson and son-in-law, Randall Robinson; step-daughter, Tammy Belcher; two granchildren, Maranda Robinson and Marissa Robinson; step-granddaughter, Tiffany Belcher; one nephew, Carroll J. Lowe, III; and four nieces Tiffeny Lowe, Lori Earp Coeburn, Sherri Earp Arentz, and Debbi Earp Place
