For someone who seemed to survive everything — and with grace — and with so much wisdom — and with a willingness to be vulnerable enough to share her story — I was so shocked to learn of Geraldine's passing. She seemed like the kind of being who would be alive forever, and she will be, in our hearts and through all the work she left us. She was an inspiration to so many people, certainly me. A truly unforgettable light in this world.

I am SO disheartened to read of "Miss G's" passing. I met Geraldine in 2009 at a meeting in Frederick. I was new and scared and, when I met her, she made me feel right at home and became a good friend. I will never forget the wonderful moments of acceptance and learning I gained from her wisdom and knowledge. Rest in Peace my friend -- and thank you for everything you did for me. Steve G
