Gary and I met through the Wings fan club magazine way back in 1973. We were both huge Beatle fans and Gary replied to my ad for pen pals. We've kept in touch ever since, never missing a birthday or Christmas card. I visited him in Md in 1990 and was made so welcome by Gary, Donna and Alex. I also met the rest of the family at a party at Denny and Esther's home and since then I have considered the Souris family as my American family. Very fortunately, Paul McCartney was playing at the RFK stadium during my stay, and we went to that wonderful gig together! We met up again when my family and I visited Florida in 1999. Gary and Donna stopped off in Liverpool in 2007, when they were touring the UK, and we were able to visit John and Paul's homes, together with the Cavern and other places of interest to Beatles fans. I will really miss my Beatles buddy. His friendship has been very special over the years to me and my family.
