Obituary
Fleta (Pauline) Dick, 90, of Thurmont passed at home with her family beside her on Wednesday, May 25th. She was the wife of the late Earl L. Dick for 22 years. Born May 31, 1925 to the late Jesse and Maggie Davidson, Pauline as she was known to all, loved her job at Fort Detrick, playing BINGO, her son Peanut, and her dogs. She is survived by her children; Donald L. Dick, Karen Souders and husband Butch, and Jimmy L. Dick and wife Barbara. 10 Grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. And Sister; Arvella "Snook" Hilker and husband Willie. She was preceded in death by her sons; Ronald L. Dick Sr., Raymond L. Dick, and Paul E. Dick. A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday, June 4th from 1-3 pm at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick where a Remembrance Time will begin at 2;15 pm. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Frederick County, http://www.hospiceoffrederick.org/donate, or P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702. The family would like to say a very special "Thank You" to all the ladies from the Frederick County Hospice that took care of Mom and to Tammy Conaway for all her help and support with Mom the last few years.
