Mr. Eugene Jesse Nash, Jr., 75, of Annapolis, MD formerly of Libertytown, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 21, 2018. He was the loving husband of Carolyn Nash for 52 years. He was born on December 19, 1942 to the late Eugene, Sr. and Lene Flare Nash. Gene was a very kind person who was a good and loving husband that cared deeply for his grandchildren. He was a Civil War Reenactor and train enthusiast who was a member of the Baltimore Society of Model Engineers who loved to talk and had a lot of friends. In addition to his wife Carolyn who describes Gene as her true love, who will never find anyone to love her like he did, he is survived by his sons; EJ Nash III and wife Lisa, and Michael J. Nash and his wife Gloria. Grandchildren; David Nash, Josephine "Joey" Nash, Jesse Nash IV, Samantha Nash, and Jacob Nash. Great-grandchildren; Gabriel and Phoenix. Brothers; Richard Weller and Ronnie Nash. Sister-in-law; Ann Baldwin. Brother-in-law; John Kegley. Cousin; Shirley Shaffer. And many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his son David Frederick Nash. And in-laws, John Clarke and Carrie Kegley. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26th from 12-1 PM at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick where a service will begin at 1 PM with Pastor Karin Albaugh, officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Baltimore Society of Model Engineers at www.modelengineers.com.
