Mrs. Erlinda Bonecutter's Obituary
Erlinda Bonecutter, Linda to her friends and family, passed away on Wednesday March 26, 2025, in Frederick, Maryland.
Born on November 25, 1940, in Manila, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Felino Quinto and the late Natividad Abordo Quinto. She moved from the Philippines to the U.S.A. in the early part of the 1970's for a better future and to help support her family. In the 1980's, she looked for opportunities to apply her exceptional administrative skills and had joined the United States Postal Service (U.S.P.S.). She worked with the U.S.P.S. for almost 30 years and retired in 2015 as a supervisor.
Linda was an avid dog lover and had owned boxers throughout her life. She had one or two or three or four boxers living with her at any given time. She was a cat lover too and had built a sanctuary for stray cats on her front porch in the historic town of Brunswick. Linda kept herself busy on weekends finding treasures in places she had visited since she loved to collect novelty items. Her ultimate joy is to travel and had enjoyed numerous visits to Europe, the Middle East and her beloved Philippines.
Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband of 36 years, Robert Bonecutter, and siblings, Basilio Quinto, Manuel Quinto, and Josefina Joe. She leaves many to cherish her memory, including her siblings Dolly Calvento, Patricia Heikkila and husband Bob, and Lilia Distrito and husband Ruben; and nephews and nieces including Aji Garcia, Denise Reyes, Marissa Quinto, Phil Quinto, Greg Heikkila, Mark Calvento, JC Bland, Zachary Joe, Ruby Distrito, and Lee Roi Distrito.
