Eric "Scooter" Monroe Bowie, 37, entered his eternal rest suddenly on March 15, 2016, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was born January 23, 1979 in Frederick, MD. Scooter graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in 1998. He was employed with Lonza working in Biopharmaceutical in Walkersville, MD.He is survived by his wife, Rayna Bowie; loving children, Massiah Preston, Anthony Bowie, Ezere Bowie, and Zander Hite; stepchildren, Racheal Norwood, Raziel Norwood, and Davonte Pearson; parents, Spencer M. Bowie, Sr. and Julie (Proctor) Ridgley; stepfather, William "Bill" Ridgley; siblings, Mary Bowie, Spencer Bowie Jr., Doris Bowie, and Annette Bowie-Ballard (Jeffery); loving friend, Sareeka Whiten; close friends, Larry Pryor, Darryl Randolph, Jerod Palmer, Mike Dykes, Darnell Randolph, and Jamie Thompson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Montrel Bowie. Services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at, Jackson Chapel UMC, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD, with a public viewing at 9 a.m., family hour at 10 a.m., and the funeral at 11 a.m. Online Condolences may be shared at www.garylrollinsfuneralhome.com.
