Miss Emily Marie Godbey, 24, of Mt. Airy passed away on November 3, 2016. She was the loving daughter of Matt and Cheryl Godbey. Emily was born on July 15, 1992 in Rockville, MD. She was very loyal to her family and friends, a young woman with a huge heart who was helpful to all. She was known to be quick-witted with a great sense of humor. Her laugh was contagious and unforgettable by all those who knew her. She loved her family, friends and her customers at work. She enjoyed the beach and loved animals, especially her cat, Mowgali. In addition to her parents she is survived by her brother; Matthew, Jr., Sister; Jessica, Step-father; Ruben B. Flores, step-brother; Ruben A. Flores. Grandparents; Walter Godbey, Jeanne Holl and Bob Troiano, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother; Audrey Troiano. Funeral arrangements are private.
