Elizabeth "Betsy" Anne Leber's Obituary
Elizabeth "Betsy" Anne Leber nee Moyer, a kind-hearted individual with a big heart and unwavering love, passed away on November 7, 2023. She was born on June 11, 1950, in Washington, DC, to William and Regina Moyer.
Betsy dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse at Montgomery Health Clinics. She treated every child under her care as if they were her own, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those she touched. Her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit made her a beloved figure in the community.
Prior to her nursing career, Betsy served in the Army with distinction. Her service earned her a National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. She was a proud veteran, displaying unwavering support for her country in all aspects of her life.
Betsy is survived by her loving mother, Regina A. Moyer, sister Lynn and brother-in-law Rich, brother Bill, along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on November 17, 2023, from 10 am to 11 am at Resthaven Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. The funeral service will commence at 11 am, followed by interment with military honors at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
