Eleanor Marie Fox Hahn's Obituary
Mrs. Eleanor M. Fox Hahn of Frederick died November 30, 2025.
She was the wife of Jerome (Punch) Hahn, her husband for 39 years. Born in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Elsie Fox.
Eleanor was a member of Frederick Christian Fellowship Church in Frederick. She was also a wonderful babysitter. She had 70 children in her care in her time; they would all call her Mom-Mom. She also worked at the American Optical Co.. She was also a number of the Moose Lodge 347 and the Eagles. She loved to dance.
Surviving her are her two daughters Daisy Hood & her husband Larry, Cindy Hahn & her partner Jimmy Shaw and her two sons Jerome (Jerry) Hahn II & his wife Joann and Richard (Rick) Hahn & his wife Cathy.
Her 5 grandchildren Diann & Todd Markward, Jerome (Jerry) Hahn III & his partner Paige, Brian & Michelle Hahn, Brandon Hahn and Tony & Alish Gauriglia. Her 6 great-grandchildren Erica & Will Lemley, Brian & Lara Hahn, Samantha & Justin Rivord, Ryanne, Autumn and Chelsea Hahn. Also, her 8 great-great-grandchildren Waylon Lemley, Malcom and Connor Hahn, and Liam, Brady, Stefan, Kylo and Marielle Rivord.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Jerome (Punch) Hahn, her daughter Patty Murphy, her son-in-law Tom Murphy, and her grandson Richard (Keith) Hahn.
Funeral services will be held on December 10th at Resthaven Memorial Garden, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy. Frederick MD. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, immediately followed by the service.
