Edward Lewandowski's Obituary
Edward Lewandowski went to Heaven to be with the Lord on December 21, 2023 in Montgomery County, MD. He was born on May 18, 1938 to Frank and Mary Lewandowski in Baltimore, MD.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Diane A. Bernady Lewandowski; children, Michelle (Eddie) and Brian (Tabrena); and grandchildren, Megan, Jessica, Brian II, and Abigail, whom were a joy and so special to him.
Lew was employed for the State of Maryland for thirty years. He served our country in the Navy from 1957 to 1962 stationed in Trinidad, and while there he also held a part-time job as a disc jockey. He was blessed to be married for 59 years and after retiring from the State government, he participated in and enjoyed many activities: Knights of Columbus Council # 11703, Limousine Driver, School Crossing Guard, Census Taker, Lector at St. Philip Neri Church, Drove for Partners in Care, and Volunteer and driver for the Weinberg Center for the Arts. Most of all he loved bowling both duckpins and tenpins with his family and friends, traveling, and his favorite sport teams, the Ravens and Orioles. He will truly be missed, goodbye for now, until we meet again.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on January 17 at 10am at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 7321 Burkittsville Road in Middletown, Maryland 21769.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a charity he truly loved.
