Mr. Eckel Junior Gibson's Obituary
Eckel J. Gibson, 73, of Weaubleau, MO and formerly of Damascus, MD passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023 at home.
Born on December 27, 1949 in Lee County, VA, Eckel was the son of the late Hobart E. and Ella M. Gibson.
He was the proud owner and operator of Airespace Yard Maintenance of Damascus, MD. He enjoyed doing tree work, fishing, attending yard sales and auctions, and being around family.
Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife of 30 years, Anna Gibson; daughters Jennifer Martin, Christeanna Levesque, and Carlotta Garcia; sons Tony Sexton, James Gibson, Kenneth Gibson, Andrew Gibson and William Gibson; eighteen grandchildren and four great-granddaughters. He is also survived by siblings Ellis Gibson, Eula Carter, and Beulah Whitworth, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Community Center, 9501 B Catoctin Mountain Hwy. in Frederick, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anna Gibson at her home address.
