Earlene Mae Hart's Obituary
Earlene Mae Hart (Clark), 68, of Frederick, MD, peacefully passed away on February 25, 2026, at Kline House Hospice in Mt. Airy, MD.
Born on May 27, 1957, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late William E. Clark, Sr. and Mary I. Clark-Hengst.
Earlene led a simple life filled with love for her cats, and her beloved Dobie will miss her dearly. She enjoyed watching classic shows such as "I Love Lucy," "The Andy Griffith Show," and "The Golden Girls." Her hobbies included writing, collecting angels, reading, playing games on her tablet, and spending time with family and close friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Lauren N. Hart; her sister, Brenda Alwine, and her husband, John; her sister-in-law, Mary Clark; and her grandsons, Elijah J. Crider, Mason L. Wages, and Ryan J. Wages. She will also be remembered by her nephews Thomas F. Clark, Jr., William Clark III, Robert Clark, as well as her nieces Elizabeth Heffner, Gail Duffy, Mary Smith, and other relatives and friends.
Earlene was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; father, William; brothers William E. Clark, Jr. and Thomas F. Clark, Sr.; nephew Mark Crocker; son-in-law Ronnie Wages; and former husband James T. Hart.
Earlene will be cremated by Resthaven. She requested a celebration of life, which will take place at Pinecliff Park (Shelter #1) on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM. All family and friends are warmly invited to attend, and food will be provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue of your choice or to Lauren Hart to help cover the costs of the celebration of life.
