Dwayne Delaney Leizear's Obituary
Dwayne Delaney Leizear, 63, passed away peacefully at his home, on November 20, 2022.
Born on May 6, 1959, Takoma Park, Maryland, Son of the late Carlton Delaney Leizear and Sarah (Sadie) Frances Dunn. He graduated from Montgomery Blair High School in 1977. Dwayne was a U.S Navy Veteran and then went onto make his name in building homes and carpentry.
Dwayne is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Debbie Leizear; stepson, Gary Weakley (Tara); stepdaughter, Michelle Weakley; sisters, Doreen Hinnant (Bill), Dayle Sperling (Bob); brothers and sisters in law, Larry and Margie Staton, Richard and Chris Monroe, David Monroe and Janet, Dan and Cindy Benear, and Larry and Heather Monroe; uncles and aunts, Mike and Debbie Rector and Lewis and Joan Leizear; grandchildren, Tristan (Cheyenne) Weakley, Skylar Weakley, Makala Johnson, Larry (LJ) Johnson, Lajahia Huskey, and Malaysia Huskey; two great granddaughters as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be missed by his longtime friends, Stuart Hayman, Tim Lee and Tom Willis, which they shared a brotherhood of over 50 years.
